If we didn't earn it, it comes back.
Payments made through our x402 endpoints can be refunded within 24 hours of settlement. The request must be signed by the wallet that paid.
The terms
- Window — 24 hours from the moment the payment settles on-chain.
- Partial refunds — yes. Ask for part of it; the rest stays settled.
- Only the payer — the refund request must carry a signature from the address that sent the original payment. Nobody else can claim it.
- Never more than settled — total refunds on a payment can't exceed what was paid.
- Paid from our funds — refunds come out of the lab's own wallet, not from other customers.
- One key, one refund — every request carries an idempotency key, so retries and double-clicks can't double-pay you.
How to ask
POST a signed refund request to /x402/refund on the service you paid. You'll get a signed receipt back — proof the refund was issued, verifiable by anyone.
When we say no
Outside the 24-hour window, not signed by the payer, or more than was settled — the request is refused with the reason stated plainly. If something looks wrong beyond that, email corey@slidphilabs.com and a human reads it.
